God Damn Medical!

It's a rude shock for me going from my ortho posting to medical. It's like throwing you in a cell with 10 horny guys waiting for you to bend over to pick up something. I've never had to manage rounds, take bloods in between rounds, write stuff down that the specialist mutters, and at the same time try to remember which beds need branulas and bloods to be done.

3 days in Cardio and I'm still in shock. Calls will be packed from next Wednesday onwards, being on call every 2 days no thanks to a bullying team leader who said, "hey you're new, you have to suffer..." WTF?!

Oh, and not to forget... Both my weekend calls are first calls... the heaviest and craziest of all!

I finally got my automatic chrono which I've been eyeing for some time. The Valjoux 7750 movement is a very well known movement used even in the ultra expensive Panerais. However, they modified the placements of the subdials and date for this model... so I'd say it's a modified 7750 movement... The rotor still rotates freely though and I can feel the watch wobbling when the rotor is rotating at full speed even when my hand is stationary... pretty weird at first.

It's another Hamilton (probably my last since I've got 3 of them already) but this time it's the Navy Frogman. It has a silver dial (finally a silver amongst my blacks, blue and white) and it's made of titanium. Some might not like the 2 huge crown protectors but I love them as it gives the watch a very unique look, very cool. Most of all, I love the titanium casing and buckle which gives the watch the rugged but classy look.

Here are the pics of the newest member of my growing collection...

I love those crown protectors... and not to mention that huge casing made of pure titanium goodness!

the watch is pretty big and thick... 43mm in diameter, and 16mm in thickness

Yup, another rubber strap. A titanium strap just doesn't suit the Frogman well IMHO...

That's it for now... gonna watch football, not much chance for it next time...
